If you're a booklover living in Florida. . .

. . . put this on your calendar.

Meet the Authors Book Fair will be held in conjunction with the ArtWorks Festival on November 23 and 24, 2013, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Both events are at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave, Melbourne, FL 32935, FREE and open to the public. For more information call: (321) 254-3398.

Meet the Authors Book Fair will have more than 40 authors represented and available to discuss, autograph, and sell their books. Writers of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and children’s books will participate, as well as local writers’ groups and book clubs.

Meet the Authors Book Fair is sponsored by Authors for Authors and has special projects to support local educators and those serving in the military. Authors for Authors invites all educators to attend the Meet the Authors Book Fair and through their Honor Our Educators program, select a FREE book while supplies last. Authors for Authors also collects children's books for the Adopt a Classroom project. They also support Operation Paperback and accept all types of book donations which are mailed to our military members throughout the world.

Come out for a day of fun and let your muse run wild! For more information contact: (321) 254-3398 or Marshall Frank, MLF283@aol.com, Holly Fox Vellekoop, Hvellekoop@cfl.rr.com, or Valerie Allen, VAllenWriter@cs.com. www.ValerieAllenWriter.com

And if you're an author, contact Valerie (see below) to see how you can participate (frugally!) --even if you live miles from the book fair site! (-:

Dear Carolyn,
Just five more weeks before our groundbreaking Book 'Em North Carolina Writers Conference and Book Fair!
I'm asking you to please help us get the word out by forwarding this email to anyone you believe might be interested in attending.
With more than 75 authors, publishers, literary agents and book promoters converging in Lumberton, North Carolina from coast to coast, we know we have something for everyone - from the youngest child to the oldest adult. So please forward this email to your friends, your fans, your readers, your family, civic organizations, book clubs, listservs and your co-workers. At our last event, we had attendees from as far away as New Jersey and Florida. This year we know of people chartering buses to attend the event and folks coming from as far away as Michigan and Illinois, so please encourage everyone to come to Lumberton!
If you have any specific questions, you can always reach author p.m. terrell, the guru behind this event at patricia@pmterrell.com.

And, yes, I'll be appearing on three different panels.

DATE: February 23, 2013
TIME: 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM
PLACE: Robeson Community College, Lumberton, North Carolina
